Friends have had good luck with the kits on their 1js. Making just shy of 500whp on stock internals. Only problem is with the waste gates not holding boost around 20Psi. The other problem is the manifolds are fine for street use. But extentrd track use (drifting professionally) is too much for them to handle without cracking.

i think it is the best kit out there for the money. but as stated the only concern is the off brand wastegate. I think the manifold would be fine.

They make decent power for the near complete kit and the money spent. I almost went with their setup but decided against it, due to thinking I would want more power than the typical goals of their kits. In the end, its what you want in power goals and the amount of money you are willing to spend.

^^ that's what i was thinking ..

my friend run that setup, the manifold looks great atleast the one he has, the turbo maybe has 2k miles on it the wheel is already hitting the compressor housing.

4years ago i was going to buy that kit, but i didn't wanna spend my money on replica wg and generic turbo with garrett internals.

you can piece a nice turbo kit, brand name turbo and WG for the same price or maybe for $200 more .

his custumer service is great ,he stand behind his product !!

He does try help with the longevity of the manifolds by adding bracing but long hard beatings (drift events) will take there toll as already stated above.

I've known many people to run DM kits on the 7m's, 1j's, and 2j's and had nothing but positive things to say about it. Some people swap the wg out before installing. Aaron is a stand up guy and if you have any problems he'll be happy to help correct them. If my turbo's ever blow I wouldn't hesitate purchasing this kit as I wouldn't be looking for big power anyhow.

Its a nice budget kit thats for sure.

Despite the negatives about the wg and the high failure rates of them in the past there have been a decent few guys on supramania that have used the cheap wg with no issue's until they can afford a better quality wg.

def not knocking the kits at all just thought they were pretty similar to XS kits which a bunch of people have had NO issues with.

not sure if XS goes the extra mile to go thru their turbo's like DM does as last time I checked they were just generic cheap turbo's (not saying anything bad about them). Considering that and you're getting ceramic coating and a polished compressor housing I think its an awesome budget kit.

Let us know how it goes once you get the kit good sir!
