So I haven't taken the door off yet, and before I do I'd like to have the part to replace or some type of idea of what I'm looking for to be wrong. My passenger side window only goes up by the passenger side switch. It also goes up very slow sometimes, I believe its the motor that needs to be changed for it to go up and down at a faster speed, but do I need to replace the driver side switch since it doesn't raise the window? From the driver side I can lower the passenger window, but I can't raise it. It only goes up and down by the passenger side switch. Any thoughts?

 

I'm guessing, but it sounds like the switch.

 

Sounds like u got some water in there and motor is on the way out and switches arent so great (at least connections). There is only one way to find out

 

Sounds like mine man, passenger just barely creeps up...I try not to use it much 'cuz I know one of these days that'll be the last. As others have said, get a working drivers side door switch unit and go from there. Good luck man!

 

I had this issue shortly before replacing the regulator. Might as well do the motor and track with cable. The plastic tabs are likely to snap if you do not treat it like crystal. I also had a problem with the clips on the courtesy light at the bottom of the door. Go slowly and be careful. It is not too bad. If you want new speakers, now would be the time to start that project as well.

 

Yeah I'm getting speakers this month which is why I havent taken the door off yet but that's what I'll do all together. Wanted to see what everyone thought about the issue. Thanks guys.
