I contacted Luis from Carson Toyota a few months back about possibly getting a mini group buy on the 1997+ Big WIN front lip. Well, after many weeks of waiting, Luis heard back from BIG WIN and here's the deal:

The original price of the front lip is $579+ shipping

The shipping charge is usually some crazy amount that is well over $100. The current value of the Yen to USD also makes things very tricky and unfavorable. BUT, the good news is that Carson can do a special bulk order for this lip to help us out. They can fit 5 lips in one box and save everyone involved on the shipping charges.

If we can get FIVE (5) people to sign up and place orders, the lip can be yours for $579 SHIPPED (lower 48 states).

I'm going to start the list. PLEASE only sign up if you are willing to go through with the order and send full payment. Once we have five people, I'll let Luis know and we'll go from there.

I'd like to see it happen for those who are wanting one of these, but as many have found in the past SC guys aren't famous for going through with group buys after they've said they want it.

 

Surprised no one has any interest. It is not my kind of thing for my daily but there are a lot of awesome cars in the Forum.

Wish the price was a tad more reasonable, i have some contacts in Japan land. If I can't source one cheaper I'll definitely be down. I have to sell the vertex sides first...

I noticed Carson Toyota ran same thing a bit back, same price for 3 people, deeper discounts needed for 5

Just as an FYI.... I paid $729.00 for mine (579 + 150 s/h) back on 01/07/2010 through Carson Toyota.

Also, the fitment of the lip is spot-on, according to my body-shop guy that did the paint/install for me.
