Huh? Torque Wrenches are not made for lug nuts!?!

The reason why I said 300ft.lbs is that I turned my torquey to 300ft/lbs, its max, and i was pushing and pushing.... after a long time, it finally came loose

Bizzy,

You cannot torque a lugnut on our thread pitch to 300. I doubt the bolt rating is that high. Maybe a commercial grade big rig tractor bolt...but not a automobile.

You might not NEED a torque wrench, but I would torque the lugs nuts properly. If you plan on ANY DIY work, investment in a good 1/2" torque wrench is a must and a 3/8" wouldn't hurt either. Rather have the nuts on properly then to have the nut on too tight ( warp rotors ) or too loose ( warp rotors or even worst lost rim ). Front rotors on SC are held in place by the rim and lug nuts. Improperly torqued nuts will "pull" the rotor out of alignment leading to improper pad contact and ultimately a warped rotor.
