I knew you were still around. After we spoke on the phone, if you remember, I decided to go with the 1JZ swap instead of building the 1UZFE. You have done some amazing modding and creativity on the SC!!!

Matt, you're totally right. I spent two hours yesterday trying to bend my Escort suction cup mount so that I could use the middle visor mount and place it right over the rearview mirror. I've found that GA sun seems to catch up to
suction cups, and they have a tendency to fall at the most inopportune times.

Anyway, I bent the mount all to pieces and finally just threw the thing away. It's a cheap, replaceable part- but I don't want to wait; I know if I do then my motivation goes completely out the window. So I came up with an alternative- one that I'm actually proud of and might post as a weird DIY.

I've got Lexus fever, and I don't want to be cured!
