Been daily driving for a while. Really needing new ATF tranny. My Boost Logic about to kick the bucket. Some new things coming soon. Nothing major for a while.

Nice! I think I am going to get an ATF trans myself, just not sure on converter yet. I have a while be fore I need it though, so I have time to decide. First up for me is a system, though nothing quite as involved as yours.

Just so you know I haven't been doing anything on the car since I haven't posted in forever. Finally got around to repairing a cracked air vent. I think I took twice the amount of stuff out to get to it. I know now. This looks a lot worse than it was.

Shane - I admire your attention to details and desire to have a perfect SC always . To go through all that work to replace a cracked vent , I would have waited until there are other things I need to do under that dash before I do all that work . Kudos to you for that love you have on our SCs.

Still waiting to have all my new drivetrain installed so I figured about time I replaced all my old couplers and clamps. I went black (Vibrant couplers and clamps) this time and got rid of the blue. They should be easier to maintain. Replaced my filter to with new AEM.

Amazing work Shane.

I am going to have to remove all my wood trim soon also this year some time for a little project I have in mind.

Can you outline the steps to remove the main (long) wood piece on the dash that has the vents?

At some point (probably 9 years ago) my dad and I had my entire interior apart down to the bone searching for a mysterious coolant leak thinking it was the evaporator (ended up being the heater control valve haha after all that work), but I am curious what needs to be taken out to get to all the mounting points that hold the front wood trim piece in place. Door panels I believe are pretty straight forward.

Gerrb,

One of two things is going to happen. One, I'm going to keep the car and I'll probably go Motec for ECU. Two, 97-SC300 is going to buy the car this summer. It's probably going to be number two if we can agree on a price point that I can recover from He'll probably have to bring some KY with his check book.

MOTEC won't control the auto tranny. Get the PROEFI with Flex Fuel.
