Rear Deck lid is in and complete. Looks fantastic in the car. Pics don't do it justice.

Starting to think posting these pics is a total waste of time.

This is one of my favorite threads! So happy to see someone put in the time and attention to detail the SC still deserves.

More wiring done for the battery. Some things still need to be straightened up.

Loving the way this is coming along. I was kind of on the fence about redoing my trunk and now I have to. If it comes out half as nice as this, I'll be pleased.

Curious why you had to get your dipped pieces clearcoated separately. Why didn't they just use a glossy film when dipping? I want to dip some of my SC pieces but I'm completely new to it.

dipping is like paint . you need to clear it just like you would painting your car for example . I had my whole engine pieces done.

Getting closer. Fuse holder needs to move over and we have caps for the screws. Wood grain pieces look awesome. The reason the battery is not moved over more to the right is it wasn't possible to get it over more with the bracket for the power antenna. We chopped it down best we could but this is how it had to be. All in all I think it looks fine. You can also see now how far the amps were moved up. Looks a ton better.

Good gosh Shane, the attention to detail. You sir have great patience.

I am loving the outlook of the efforts you have put into this sound system. Just going to pop heads when all said and done.

Keep the progress going man.

Ok boys and girls. Some new pics. Still a lot more to do but these pics really show the detail of the trunk. We tried to paint the trunk trim but it turned out not so great so it will be getting wrapped in suede. The other painted pieces for the trunk should be done today.
