I brought the nylon and spools of wiring for my harness from waytek. I redid my whole engine harness and will be redoing it again for proefi.

Well, went and had my tires mounted on my wheels at EVS Motors Performance Studio. They were the closest people who had a touchless tire mounting machine. One of the best experiences I've had with a vendor. Great customer service and great pricing. Met Marquis who has an SC on this site and is friends with Turbodremz. Great guy. Decided I'd hook him up with some of my leftover parts.

If anyone ever in the Houston area needs tires mounted these are the guys to see. I'll be posting pics soon but wheels need to be cleaned and a coat of wax put on them.

Well, big shout out to my wife. She just spent the last hour waxing my nuts.

Those lug nuts have never looked that good. Got a coat of wax and a coat of Rejex on wheels and they look incredible. Pics tomorrow.

This weekend was interesting to say the least. Got wheels and tires on. I was worried the fronts might rub since I went to a 255. They didn't and life was good except now the rears were rubbing. Hmm...... Same size tire and same manufacturer.........still rubbing like crazy. So I got to do my first ever adjustment on my coil overs. Really wasn't that difficult at all except fro trying to get the rears adjusted right before they rubbed. I ended up raising the rear about 3/4" more tan the front. Car has a slight rake now but I like it. Car actually rides a whole lot better also. Here's a couple of pics after bath. So happy with the chrome now. Put a coat of Adam's #2 on the wheels and a coat of rejex on the barrels. Rinse with hose and dry off. Doesn't get any easier than that.

I have to admit, I was skeptical about chroming your CCW wheels. I was wrong 100%. They look awesome.

Did you weigh the wheels before and after chroming ?

jfn,

No I didn't but I can tell you from experience the weight added by chrome is negligible.
I don't care how much it would have added either because they are so easy to take care of now.

Just another added touch to the SC, Shane. Nice!!! I am glad to see us older generation doesn't have to slammed cars to get attention. Feels good to be old..... I thought I would never say that. ..

The wheels look great on the car, but I always thought you had 295/30/19's on back not 295 x 35 x 19
that might explain the tires rubbing, since its now a higher profile

Still on a 30 series tire but they rub. I had to raise both the rear and front so they wouldn't rub. I hate the sound of tires on metal. Oh well, I'd rather it be a little taller than run a bunch of negative camber.

Well, my baby is headed to Austin next weekend to have the trunk finished and tuning done. My buddy will probably have it for about three weeks to get things done. I think my finished trunk is going to turn a few heads.
