J,

It's funny. I was thinking just the opposite. Two months ago when we were in the 50 degree weather the car was pulling like crazy. I want more power.

Did a little work last night. I'm that guy who does things one time then ends up going back a redoing it two or three. Pulled my strut brace last night and removed the spacers I installed. It was rubbing on the hood liner because it was so tall. I ended up putting on the living room carpet upside down with both feet in the middle. A couple of pulls on the ends and it bended slightly. Refit it and it's now perfect without any spacers except one on drivers side. Looks a lot better. I also replaced passenger side inside fender liner. Mine had rubbed when car was so low. Drivers side is new too along with wheel moulding and hardware. All new hardware along with new fender trim with screws. One of these days I'm going to add up all these reciepts from Sewell.

Supplemental battery installed today. Worked out great. For some reason the circuit breaker looks crooked in pics but it's not.

jwin,

I wanted to add a supplemental battery to the diehard platinum I have under the hood. My three JL amps pull a lot of current and I wanted to add the battery to help out. Right now just pounding on the system my voltage stays at 14.21 at the distribution block. No light dimming, etc. Couldn't be happier.

I had a batcap in my car before. It's had the capacity of a battery but recharges like a capacitor. Don't know if you heard of it but I really like it.

jwin,

I've used multiple batcaps in the past. They always worked great. I just wanted to add a battery this time. I'm changing things up again. Bought A JL Audio XD200/2 to run the rear speakers now. I'm going to bridge the other 600/4 to run 300x2 to my front Piccolo tweeters. Going to have tons of head room and tons of volume. Basically 300x4 now on all front drivers. It will give me an option of running a three way seperate set up up front too if I decide.

New amp came in for rear feel. JL Audio XD200/2. Mounted it on tank like my old install. Everything perfectly square, yes I'm ****. Clips came in for 0 gauge wiring where I installed other battery. Also dynamated and carpeted behind battery so it would look better. You'll never see it but scratches on inside fender was driving me crazy.
