ls1 engine to sc400 swap?

So i was told that i could put a chevy camaro ls1 engine into my sc400.would it work? do i need to replace the transmission too? i youtubed and googled it but i wanted to ask some other lexus owners.

People are putting ls1s in pretty much anything with red these days. As far as the sc goes, it's been done before. Just search this forum and you'll find all the info you need.
