I have searched on here.i have goggled it to.and i have had no luck.im looking for a DIY step by step on making my fuel return on my 98 sc300.i need to know what i do onc i get to the tank.i already got and install a stock OEM hardline return line i got off a 95 sc300.
thanks for any input.
You have a pump and a supply line that feed your fuel rail and then you have a fuel pressure regulator on the rail that maintains the proper pressure and empties the excess into the return line and returns it to the tank. The return line simply empties into the tank. I don't think it's terribly important where, but I think most commonly return in through the bulkhead where the feed line comes from.
I know that there are differences in the 97/98 tanks from older ones, you may want to just switch out your tank with another years.
All the stock fittings, (feeds, returns vents and drain) come through the bottom of the tank., get under your car and look where your diff is and look straight up,
When i do my surge tank, im going to just weld on a fitting to the tank and just have a hose in the tank that allows it to return. Ill be blocking off all my stock fittings at the bottom of the tank.
you can some what see what your looking for in there.
