Did you remove the dash or simply mask the areas around it and spray inside the car? I've been seeing more and more people spraying the dash while inside the car lately and wonder how it comes out.

While in the car...I took apart as much as I could then used painters tape to cover everything else..and used printer paper/tape to cover wind shield..came out good I started at the top with heavy coats to get in the crease up there then just finished it from there..thanks for compliments as always and should have new door panels and painted trim thanks to alpha..

I think removing the dash would have taken you about the same time as masking everything and would come out better. I remembered it only taking me about 1hr or so to take everything apart.

It came out get honestly..took me about 1hr to remove as much as I could then mask everything...the difference..took me 10 secs to un mask everything but yea I did think it would of been best but I'm not upset with how I did it and the results are great imo.

I painted mine in the car, I have pictures of the plastic covering everything. It looked so redneck but the results were amazing and i was impressed. I actually shoved cardboard down in between the glass and the dash, then started to prep. Came out real nice... Your dash does look good.

Awesome idea for all of us! I have a repair and maintenance log. I don't know why I never thought of my own online thread! Cool.

well today was a great day for myself, i got my door panels in from Alpha and they are amazing, i didnt install just yet i need to take care of a few other things, however i got the painted wood trim from him as well and installed that along with the rest of the dash i had missing ..the center console is halfway done but i need black audio/temp ***** and hazard before i put it altogether..so anyway i just snapped a pic of whats done so far today..not sure how much more i will accomplish this weekend. I need to put new plastic sheeting on my door to stop water from coming in and ruining another door panel so ill try to get that done tomorrow and install the driver side door panel IF i can find my damn memory seat button, if not ill purchase one and install then. as far as the passenger side, i need to find a mint top panel with no cracks/breaks before i install that door panel.

anyway heres the pic for today.

if you're gonna keep the factory radio, i suggest you do this while the radio's still out....(unless you have a Nak)

^ thanks i def planned on doing this before, i might as well do it i have all the stuff handy to do it since i build computers pretty often..im not 100% ill keep it but might as well do it for now...what im really considering is a carputer ..i have a few ideas but id like to build something for it that i can also leave my map ecu or aem if i end up going that route later connected to the display for easy tuning adjustments or monitoring.

we'll see though, but i think for now i might just go ahead and rip the radio back out, wish you would of wrote this yesterday before i put it back in haha
thanks.
and i guess ill post my old rig for fun sold it so i could get away from gaming a bit and get back into my car

well, i was going to sell and still might but heres the updated pics of the turbo setup
sand blasted everything and ceramic coated it all so it looks a LOT better.
would be a very nice setup but im just not 100% my motor is in the best condition.
Replacing alternator tomorrow and the crank pulley as soon as i receive it from Aliga.
So i have it up for sale to go 1jz if i find out the motor too much to fix/get ready for boost..

anyway heres a pic of how the kit looks now
