On my previous car I ran without them once I relocated the fender harness. No issues in the hot months but when drove in the snow it would pile up in the fenders and a made a mess. On the current vehicle I plan keep them in and maybe just cutting the tops

I had mine cut at first, but eventually I hit a bump (over 100mph) and that was the last time i saw it. It only seemed to happen on my drivers side though, the other side was fine with just cutting

I took part of my fender liner out about a year ago. My SC used to rub a lot when I first lowered the car and the liner got chewed up after a week.
