Neutral Safety bypass problem
i did something like stockhatch mentioned, except i ran a wire from pin 1 of the starter relay to the clutch switch under the dash. Im curious if Dr. Tweak uses a NSS bypass in his harness or not, but the only way it would work for his customers is if he left that pin out to install a manual trans NSS, but even then it doesn't make much sense. Did Dr. Tweak have anything to say about this?
Stick, you must have a factory 5-speed then. Since he is auto to manual conversion, his nss relies totally on the auto trans switch. Since the switch is gone, the jumper should have been installed between the pins mentioned above. I think it's just a simple case of a single, missing wire.
i realize that he has the auto, but im wondering if Dr. Tweak either just forgot to reinstall that pin or if he left it out to incorporate a NSS switch in the harness. I was just providing what i did as an example on how i overcame my starting problems.
dr. tweak sais that wire should be there and should be jumped to the black wire in the white body plug connector which goes to the pin 77 on the ecu. (NSS) but mine is missing. so it must have been forgotten or something.
now i have a problem with the car stalling out and bucking when i try to rev it. could have something to do with the fact that i am running 550cc injectors/resistor pack, usdm twins, usdm cams on aristo ecu. i have a safc2 wired in i just need to tune it maybe....
