that's weird bro , was it your post ? i thought everything was normal .
Not my post, but it was a little after 1992Lexus post. Somebody posted a link to a thread from a while back that had his interior converted to saddle with diamond cuts. Now, it's gone...

Has anyone found anyone who can reupholster and match the color of the SC 430 saddle interior...or rehab a beat up SC saddle interior without reupholstering and be able to match the color?
I don't want to spend the 4k Lexus would charge, but have not found any leather remotely close in any of the hide stores. Just need the 2 front seats and center console done,
I had good luck with a local decades old independent auto upholstery shop. I started with Supra MKIV seats which had totally shot leather but in more of a "camel" tan color. I ordered Katzkin replacement 100% leather skins for those but in a custom leather color that got *very* close to matching the original Lexus SC tan interior color (for 1993 anyeay but I think it's the same for all years?). That was color code GL603 Ivory (to match the SC's original "tan"). Best to try out a sample yourself first with an upholsterer.
If you were to stick with your stock SC seats it should be easier as Katzkin *should* have the right color code already matched for your interior from the start. My situation was only complicated a bit because I was custom ordering the right color in new skins but for non-SC seats.
I also had the center console lid and the right and left door arm rests custom recovered in the same leather color code. I still have to get around to giving the shop my worn rear seat cushions to finish the restoration.
Mind you none of this was cheap to have done (about $1k total for the two bucket seats and around $400-$450 for the console lid and door side arm rests) but it was all in high quality 100% leather and we went through several close-but-no-cigar samples before we got the right one.
Lexus would probably charge far more than $4k and that's assuming they'd even have those parts still in stock.
^ Quality leather work ain't cheap! I was quoted $700 for just the driver's seat, including materials and labor (constructed, not a skin). Having redone it myself, I can attest to how much work is involved. I'm sure there are a lot of tricks to the trade that are well above my knowledge and skill level.
As far as I know and can tell visually, the same tan was used for all years SC.
