Guys. My SC is gone now. Sold it the other day for some personal reason.
I will be getting a 99 or 00 SC soon though (that was a promise I made to myself when I decided to sell my SC). I looked around but the going prices for 99 or later SC models are in the $30k, which I can't justfy spending. So I will wait about 6 to 12 months before getting another SC.
Although I've only had my SC for a short period of time, let me tell you it is such a great car! Excellent built quality! Head-turning design! and so forth. Salute to the SC line up!
Of course I will still be visiting this forum from time to time.
That's too bad '99s and '00s are a rare breed. Any reason why you want those as opposed to a '98 model? The '99 only has DRLs, 3-spoke steering wheel, and bigger brakes added. Nothing that extrordinary from a '98, IMO... '00s only have a VRS, which I'd never use anyway.
No particular reason actually. I thought I'd buy the newest SC model I could afford, and keep it as long as possible.
By the way, I found a pair of parking light bulbs that matches factory HIDs perfectly.
They are called 'quad' head LED bulbs (can be found on ebay).
I purchased one pair for my SC but they didn't match the Sylvania Silverstar bulbs that I had on my SC, at all!
Instead I installed them on my LS400. And surprisingly they match the factory HID almost perfectly!
Obviously, this pic doesn't do it justice. my camera picked too much blue (in real life, they don't look this blue instead you can see a little bit of purple hue in them)
My next project will be changing the fog lights to some PIAA bulbs i am thinking of getting a pair of PIAA plasma (but don't know where, only imported from japan?)
