Where does everybody get their suede for their interiors at? Wedsites or actual stores? And what kind of suede should I be looking for? About how many square feet do I need for everything? Hoping for website addresses so I can check prices. On the "research and development" part of my project lol
doing your whole interior in suede is kinda tacky although it sounds nice, but any upholstery shop should have suede, and depends on your price on what kind you can get...... goodluck!

Thinkin part of the door panels, maybe headliner but not sure. Thinkin bout doing a carbon fiber dash wrap that I saw on the forums with some racing seats that are a suede type material. Accent color will be an orange if everything goes as planned
ohhh ok, i though you were trying to do your whole interior. i apologize sir.
Its kool man. Ive seen all suede interiors and not too crazy bout them. Gotta have some different textures in my interior lol. And I think that carbon fiber, black suede, and an orange would look pretty good in my opinion
I've remade the rear speaker panel with black suede and it turn into a grey-pink color into 2months or less... As I ask to many people that know fabrics, the sun isn't very good for the suede! So I've remade it with black velour alike.. seem like the stock fabric of the car, but in black. It's now black and still black even 1 year after!
Local fabric stores carry suede, but like biturbo632 said that stuff generally is not designed for sun and will end up fading over time. I've never found a good source for automotive grade suede like interior shops use when they wrap pieces.
Real suede doesnt handle well in cars because of the sun and heat like stated you need a synthetic like ultrasuede or alcantara that way it wont fade and start flaking and cracking. I have the A-pillers and headliner done for 3 years now no problems fading or drying out.
look for "ultrasuede". real suede leather will be much more expensive.

Word...i used that. I keep a towel over my armrest (done in sued) to help prevent fading. Limo tint also helps... Your local fabric shop or auto upholstery shop should have it or be able to source it.
