no its liability. but car will be on the road again soon. damage isnt that bad at all. just need some junkyard parts and new paint job and im good to go
Sorry to hear that! It wasn't that long ago that we met you at the pavilions and saw the car in person. Good luck, I hope you get her back on the road soon.
well it was raining in Arizona Saturday night. it stopped for like an hr and thats when i was driving. pavement was still a little wet but not that bad. i was on the freeway coming from a car show and some car completely cut my friend off behind me and got right up on my bumper and wouldn't get off. once we got on the freeway i completely pulled away from him but then i slowed down to meet up. he wanted to race and so i downshifted to third and right when the turbos spooled i immediately lost traction and went completely sideways. then it just got out of control and into the highway median i went.
Man that sucks, all the time, money and effort and BAMMMMM... Sorry about your loss. The rear section will be hard to replace and expensive unless you have a hook up..
yea...i found a rear qtr panel for 500 but its in japan. shipping will be outrageous and will probably take forever. hopefully i can find someone to repair my fender for less than $1000. new plans for car: repaint to gun metal grey, auto cotoure front bumper and skirts, and vertex rear bumper
buy a plasma cutter or cutting wheel. do work. try to get them cordless if you can so you can get the pieces out of a junk yard too! i have some headlights if you'd like to buy those locally tooo!
WOW, was that the fault of IRRESPONSIBILY or TEMPTATION ? A rule of thumb that might help you in the future, NEVER RACE OR DRIVE FAST ON WET PAVEMENT(S) (ESPECIALLY ON BOOST) You live and you learn i guess. Atleast your ok dude.
yea mine is an original 5 speed. and i know. im not ever gonna race on wet pavement again. see i have a boosted audi, but its awd and doesnt have much horsepower. so when ever i raced in that i really didnt have a problem with traction. two totally different cars. def gonna learn from this experience
