Alright guys, I own a 97 SC300 and I had a couple questions about stock function of the Key fob/security.

These questions are year specific:

First question: When you unlock your car with the key fob, do you interior lights come on?

Second Question: When you unlock your car with the key fob, do you headlamps and tail lights come on?

Any insight on these would be greatly appreciated.

On my 93, the lights never came on when I unlocked the car. It did shut off any interior lights when I locked it though.

i have a 99...and when i unlock my car non of my lights come on...but you should be able to set your dome lights to turn on when door opens...

but when i remote start it my headlights/taillights come on

I didn't know if the oem keyless had similar feature to the is300. When I unlocked it the headlights/tails came on.

Guess I'll have to get a timer relay!

when i unlock my car my taillights and marker lights in headlights come on .when i lock , car just flash . when i cut car off the headlights if dark out stay on until I open door..does has aftermarket alarm and working factory so not sure if its 1 or the other....my car is a 95 sc300 manual
