Overspray? I'm not familiar with the term, but make sure you cover your entire car up before painting otherwise use a bunch of high powered fans to blow the paint vapors to the ground. I got some paint vapor on my car. It's not visible, but you can feel it. It comes off easily with a razor blade though.
I'm actually unsure which paint can was responsible for the vapors because I used high temperature engine paint to paint my calipers at the same time.

Clay bar does the trick
. I just spent the last four hours clay barring every last inch of my car and not only did it remove ALL the overspray residue, but my car is now smoother than a 16-year old piece of ***!! Oops, can't use that one anymore! But seriously, the finish is as glassy as the day it came off the truck. I even got compliments from the mail man and the pizza guy. This **** is the ****!!!

Lexus Test Driver
any specific one to use? I may try doing this to enhance the shine to my car. Any instructions or is it just apply and rub off?

You do not apply the clay to your car. You use the clay to smooth the finish by having it absorb or clean the paint. The junk sticks to the clay. I would get some good stuff from one of our sponsors and some detailing spray to help it glide along. Search the car care section and you will find plenty of tips.

I used Mother's Clay Bar. It comes with a piece of clay, lubrication spray, and a bottle of caranuba wax for afterwards. You spray the lube on, and rub the clay around until you can't hear or feel the courseness anymore. For persistant spots like sap stains, just rub harder and faster and it'll all come off eventually. Everything but the paint comes off the car.
