Default Sc300 twin turbo supra build

For my next project I really want to build a 2jzgte and drop it in an sc300 with a 6 speed 160 or 161 getrag tranny. Besides extending the wiring harness, what else needs to happen? Ive heard I need to extend the drive shaft 5.5 inches. Is this the supra or sc drive shaft and if its the supra one would that mean I need a supra rear subframe and axles and diff too?please sombody shed some light on the subject.

driftmotion makes a drive shaft for that setup so you don't have to modify the car.

All you need to do is have a drive shaft made. No actual need to do anything else. You can go ahead and put a supra / gs diff subframe in there too but it's not bolt on.

Well you obviously need a 6spd diff if you are going with a v160/161.

actually you can use any of the differentials just need to swap over the front flange.
For stock 6spd gearing you can go with the 6 speed diff (you may need drivers axle also).
Or you can use the one that comes in the SC which is the same case as the auto TT diff and all n/a diffs. this diff is used in alot of cars including GS's so that means alot of ratios are out there for you to choose for the main gear, which some people prefer to the stock 6 spd gearing. all of these units are non lsd except for the Auto TT one, but they can all accept the lsd from a Auto TT or aftermarket ones made for it. (Kaaz, TRD, etc..).

you dont need to swap out the rear subframe for a 6spd supra subframe unless you really must have it and the supra sway bar. it will actually bolt on, but the stock subframe is just as good really once you upgrade your bar.

you cannot just extend the harness, a 2jzgte never came in a sc300, body plugs will not match up. Now if it was a soarer 1jz, then yes.
you can use the stock harness which runs a 2jzge and modify it for the extra ignition, map, iat sensors etc.. or you can send your stock harness and the turbo harness out to be spliced for you for.

you need to do some searching/reading all this is common info on this forum.
