Read that, and if you're still serious about putting on a hood scoop because racecar, then kindly turn your keys in to the nearest Lexus enthusiast who won't ruin the car.
Man, that article was a LONG time ago... I remember reading it the first time through - it might have been 8+ years ago, maybe more...

Pretty funny tho!

Yeah, because a friend of mine had the same car so it made it even funnier to me.

LEX_MAN, that's pretty good. Is that just fiberglass or are you working with CF resin? I still say it's only useful or tasteful in a dedicated function-over-form track car but I do like your project.

that could be made into a roof scoop. even tho i find the idea silly on a soarer.

roof scoops are for race cars lol not production cars. if anything it makes a good car look like a bondo nation reject when u see how badly some people wanna get a roof scoop on.

even worse when u see those "box" chevy's (mid 80's Caprice) with those crappy molded on hood scoops that eventually start lifting when u see how badly the bondo job was done.

Actualy i was gona do the reverse scoop, but it would look like the sun roof is open all the time ,u get what i'm saying? But i was too lazy to fabricate with the foam ,plus i'm very bussy with the interior. No, dont ask, you wont get any pics this time, only when i finnish...thats after i make up my mind about the styling.I already did that mistake before lol

Targa would only work with window frameless doors.

If done right all you need is a thin layer of filler just for the small pinholes. I created the frame so i can do anything on top.
