Default car height changes when shifting gears?

So i just swapped a used motor on an automatic sc300 I bought with a bad motor. Everything seems to have went fine with it but when I change from park to drive the car drops very noticeably. My dad says that was common with 280z he has driven in the past. I own a manual sc so I have no clue as to if its normal or not.

Well, when you engage the gear in the trans, it twists.

If your suspension is sloppy, when it twists, guess what happens!

Sounds normal to me...Like spoolxexo said, if your suspension is shot, it will be a noticeable squat in the rear.
