First time I've seen this thread. Can I just add that all of this is epic? Can't wait to see the paint finished!

Beautiful interior and a 2jz getrag?

Here are a couple of shots today!

I know I have to drop it. Winter is coming up and it will just sit in the garage, so definitely in the spring.

Very clean

It's sad that you're going to have to put her away soon, especially after all the work you just did. I know the feeling.

Absolutely gorgeous! Did you just 'glass over the hole for the volume control? I want to go to a different head unit but don't like the idea of a gaping hole in the dash. And yes I know they make a kit to keep the **** functional but that seems redundant to me. Two volume controls within an inch of each other AND a remote! Really? Looking for ideas on what to do about that hole. NOS switch? nope don't have it and don't want it.

Your work here is inspirational and exceptional! I plan to stick with my factory colors but the techniques you've used will definitely help me when I tackle mine! Thanks for posting this!!!

They do? I'm installing a "****-less" Alpine head unit and would love to make that **** work, who makes it??

Sorry I don't know for sure who makes that volume control kit but the salesman at "Mad Mark's Stereo" in
Bradenton Fl told me about it. I will be driving past tomorrow and I'm ALWAYS happy to help out a fellow Lexus lover. (Not to mention checking out new toys at the stereo store.) I'll post back here or I can PM you if I can figure out how. Also where are you located? It's not in your profile.

Mad Marks? I lived in Sarasota for 18 years, know the place well! I'm anxious to see if they have a kit for it! I live in Minnesota now, so my car will be going into winter storage soon...
