Default where does this vacuum? line go?

Ok so as you can see this vacuum lines comes out of this valve here, and I have it t-ing into a vacuum line that goes to the intake.

Now I know it's not suppose to go there at all, but when I was putting the engine back together from nothing I had no idea where this went, and I've looked every to figure this out. Other pictures of engine bays don't show this vacuum line since their so dark and I just want this to be connected to the right spot. I don't even know what it's for/does.

thanks!
