oh my goodness aristo, i clicked on the clk/m5 killer icon and when the pic popped up i just creamed in my pants.. man in japan they really know how to do it right!!! hey i have a question for you aristo, when i was in tokyo i went to this place called mega web, and it had this weird toyota pulic wherehouse thing. basically it had almost all their current lineup and it had some trd parts for sale as well, the building was all glass i believe. do u know what i am talking about?

I don't live in Tokyo, but I visited the place you are referring to. I think it is called Toyota Land or something like that. They have pretty much every model car there, including some Lexus cars, even a IS300(Altezza) GT car. It's like a huge showroom. It's near that big *** ferris wheel, not to far from Disneyland.

yep thats the place!!! i went in 1999 i believe, and thats where i got the 1st look at the altezza. i wish i had a scanner so i could show you guys the pictures, oh well. that ferris wheel is too crazy, i was told its the biggest in the world, im cool, that looked too scarry!

I will be going back there early next year for vacation. I will make sure to bring the camera along and take some pictures to post on the site

furby: I'm 10 miles from the 707 here in the 415.. if you see my car you'll see one of these license plate covers glowing Lexus with the L logo. I like it personally, it gives the car personality and alone it's not ricey. Now, if I had that on a Honda with LED windshield wiper nozzles, clear corners with bulbs that are too bright, cut springs and a Yuban I can see how it would be a good ol' piece of rice.
I am sorely tempted to make a trip to Japan and buy a 2.5TT.. or waste 10 grand on stuff for my car

aaah, i've seen this mod before, i even saw a how to for this mod.
i wish i bookmarked it
i do know that they cut out the original letters and (here is where it gets fuzzy) put lights or something behind the plate so that the characters are illuminated.
