Default 1997 sc300 green request

Hi guys

I had a 92 Sc300 loved the car. Lowered on blitz wheels. Many of you might remember me. Anyways had sold it, it was white.

I then had a 98 white Sc300 all stock. Loved it but traded it in on a new s2000 in 07. Big mistake.

Since then I had a ls400 did VIP style sold it.

Now I want to buy a Sc again for daily drive.

I found a clean 97. It is quite a distance from ne and is green in color. I looked through the color chart here but that thread is 5 years old and I could not tell if there was a green in 97.

I have seen the car in person. It is not the light jade green of the 92 and it isn't the dark forest green. However it is original owner and they promise no color change ever occurred.

Anybody have a 97 green Sc that I can see some pics of?

Your help is appreciated. Hope to get back to the Sc family again permanently.

Thank you for the pics but the car I am looking at looks much lighter. Hmmmm. Waiting on pics of door jam to confirm OEM color code.

Good luck, brother. It sounds like you may have found the "one".

I chased my SC300 back and forth for 2 weeks, including having a deadbeat bidder yank it from me the first time- but you've had a couple of SCs before, so it's only a matter of convincing.

Thanks everybody.

Looks like 6p2 is the right color code.

Just confirmed by vin door jam picture.

I guess the color photographs very differently in different light conditions.

Hope I can make a deal. Wish me luck. will keep you posted.

Glad you found the color code. Just for reference for everyone in the future Google "toyota reference". Great website has all color codes for lexus/toyota along with pictures.

I think that's the color of my car. Looks the same color as the one in the picture with gold and chrome wheels. The one next to the white S2K. I'd post a picture.. Don't have any on this phone cuz I just got it but I might be able to pull a pic from FB.
