I posted a few weeks ago that I bought a 1998 Bordeaux Pearl SC300...or so I thought...

After looking for some touch up paint to patch some boo-boo's I could not find the Bordeaux Pearl paint code for my year. I did, however, find a paint code for Baroque Red Metallic that looks EXACTLY like my car. My car came with the original window sticker & after checking it out...Baroque Red Metallic. The dealership gave me the wrong info...I feel like I was faking the funk this whole time claiming I had BP when really I didn't (please forgive me! LOL) I know it's not a big deal but I don't like to wander around in life hoarding wrong information...

I still LOVE the color though...the gold pinstripes are gone (except for the "L"s) & it's getting new shoes today (g35 7-spoke) so I'll be posting better pics later.

Yeah, I'm gonna attempt to DIY it & change them to silver...I hate those damn gold emblems!

 

Baroque Red Metallic is still an awesome color. The G35 wheels will look awesome on it.

 

dont ruin those gold emblems ill trade you my faded ones that you can DIY !!!!!

 

oh and also love the color even if you did lie looks great and makes me want to get a purple SC

yeah dude i hate that gold trim too. i haven't seen a car able to pull it off yet

Yeh I'll take them all mine are faded I think I the only one here who likes gold

 

thats one of my favorite colors... not even sc color, favorite car color period... i painted one of my trucks that color... it looks amazing. i would keep the gold emblems on it.

 

U know thats one of the rarest colors an if im not mistaken, they only had that color in 1998

 

I don't know how well the gold emblems blend with gunmetal rims & silver lugs, though...I may have to ditch them.

I didn't know that...It's funny because I wasn't even aware it even came in that color before I found it online! Once I saw it was like love at first sight. It was fate...
