so i was driving at night and nailed something (still havnt figured out what) but anyway my vertex bumper broke and now im in need of a new one, i do have vertex sides and rear, so im looking at
1. 97+ front bumper
2. AC bumper
3. Vertex bumper
all seem good to me, so now im turning to my CL family to help me decide

 

92-94 Front with OEM lip

 

A '95-'96 front end with an oem lip looks nice....It's not very common either.

 

I have to say the 97-00 front bumper is the best. I changed only that on my 93 and left the original rear and side panels on. I feel it's the best OEM-style aggressive look. Second best is the 92-94 SC400 lip. Third, a Wise lip. All of these preserve a classic "rake" that used to be common on muscle cars or other older GT's.

Those other bumpers begin to really change the look of the car a bit much, IMO but I've never personally been into body kits so I am biased. I find they too often change the flow of a car's original body lines unless it's just the front end.

 

Stick to the options given by the OP, guys.

Considering Vertex sides look aggressive and hangs a bit low, 97+ without a lip will look mismatched. A Vertex bumper or 97+ lip will look best out of your choices.

 

The AC bumper basically is a 97+ with a lip, which looks amazing! I agree though, JUST a 97+ bumper would not match the "body line" of the rest of your car with those aggressive skirts and rear on it. AC or Vertex are both great

 

97 for daily driven.

AC 2nd, just watch curbs, driveways, etc

Vertex looks like some ricer crap advertised as a new Gundam figure.

Go Vertex if it's an authentic piece, otherwise 97+.

If you must then I would say a 97+ and a pre 97 lip or if you got the cash take the plunge and buy a vertex lip for the 97 front I'm not to sure the AC front would look good with the vertex sides but I may be wrong.

thanx for the opinions, ive decided to just go with another vertex bumper since i have the rest of the kit on, id like to go with an AC bumper but idk if itll flow with the kit so i dnt wanna end up losing money thanks for the help, id love to go back to my old 92 oem bumper but it was smashed byt the previous owner

 

In the end, it boils down to what look you want for your SC! We could all suggest what we feel you should put on(based on our personal opinion) but you're the one that has to make up your mind. So with that said;
