Hi guys, my trac light comes on about 1 minute after starting my car sometimes. Happens usually like once every 1 or 2 weeks. How do i read TRAC error codes and anyone have any ideas on what it could be.

If i shut the engine down and restart at a traffic light or something it'll not show up again for a while, but obviously i wanna know what it is!

does your engine light come on while you do that?

what year is your car? if its obd-1, you can go to the obd-1 plug under the steering wheel and jump ports Te1 and E1, put the key in and turn it to just the On/Acc position, now the check engine light will flash, when it does that just count the amount of times it flashes.

it'll do it in groups. each flash represents one, so lets say it does this

flash, flash, flash, pause, pause, flash flash
that is a 32, it'll repeat this code 3 times then move onto another one if there is one.

i don't have the list on me, but you can easily look it up what each of them means online.

mine did the same thing, ended up being brake fluid too low
