Front Axle Replaced
So after my accident, they had to replace my front axle on my '97 SC400. It's all working fine, but when I drive, I do feel that it's a little bit more bumpy (not as smooth as before) and I hear the axles turning when I gas harder. I'm going to get it checked up on again, but I was just wondering if this is like a problem. I also feel like its pushing a little slower than before, but I guess that might just be because of the accident. Just wondering if you guys could give me some input before I go to them on friday.
Or Idk, I'm pretty sure it said front axle. Cause like I swerved out of the way from a car and my right tire went 35 into the curb. So my rim got cracked and they told me the axle got bent. So if it's not the front axle, I don't know what else to call that.
if your front wheel got bent it probably had something to do with your front hub i check the paper you got again. not trying to sound like a **** but there is no front axle in these cars

It's not like shaking aggresively or anything, before I didn't feel the road beneath me, but it gives me like very light shakes/bumps and I can hear like the axle under me churning. Like when I gas, I hear it turn a little before my wheels start going.
does the same thing happen when u reverse and go over bumps... if so it might be ur subframe... the subframe on our car for some stupid reason is aluminum and suks... they bend really easy so it might have bent wen u crashed. if it didnt bend then its probably just loose and u can have whoever tighten the screws for u.
If it's up front and it gets louder when you go faster it could possibly be your wheel bearing. But if you payed someone to fix it take it back and take there tech on a test drive and make sure they hear what you hear.
Yea, i paid for someone. And the shaking only happens when I'm driving forward, not reverse or anything. It just feels not as smooth, and I know its not my tires since I got 4 new bridgestone tires. But, I will definitely ask them to look at the subunit and make sure all my screws are tightened. Thanks guys
