Question any structural damage?

ok, while driving home from the bar, i felt like driving like an idiot. The roads were in pretty bad condition as it had just snowed a bit, and the scrapers hadn't come out yet. I decided that i would do some e-brake turns,. The first couple of ones were alright... but after stopping at a stop sign, i did another one during a left turn. I pusshed the e-brake too late and "smoked" my rear right tire against the curb. The sound was a fairly loud "thump" and it sounded as though the rim hit the curb.
After swearing a couple times, i continued driving and tried listening for anything that would indicate that there's some broke, bent or damaged. nothing. Also i looked at the wheel and couldn't really see anything wrong. My question is, "would i be able to hear something while driving if something were wrong?" sorry for the long story.

Not necessarily. You should have it brought to a mechanic and inspected on a rack.

Might want to have the car re-aligned as well.
