Default Transmission Swap

I've found a few nice sc300's that arnt to expensive. Only issue, their auto. It's is a hard swap to get the 5 speed? And also, I've been thinkin about instead of the 5 speed, (if I do get an auto) which Tranny should I go with for a 6 speed, and is it more of a project or could I find a 6 speed Tranny that will bolt stright up to the 2jz.

^^^sc300jz is right on the money with the price

sometimes you can find a low price on w58's since r154's are a better grab for boosted sc's

Any problem can be solved by throwing enough time and money at it Just look at our economy....

If you are going to do a 6 speed swap, I would really hope that you are either going to do a Twin Turbo swap, a Beefy NA-T, or a Super Charged or Twin Turbo Charged V8. Also remember that there are other things to take into consideration aside from just swapping the trans, like: DS, Rear End, etc.

You will not fully utilize a V160 without at least swapping the rear differential as well to correct the gear ratio.

Haha, because our economy is doing, just oh so well.

I wasn't going to go turbo at all I was thinking of just a stright motor build don't really see it too often. Clearly becuase the turbos are just so beautiful. What do you recommend for a rear end wth a w58 or can I run the stock rear end. Remember I'm broke so going to be N/A Turbo built. I'm just lookin for something I can get my drift on, I've been running a little 22re N/A Turbo 2wd pickup to drift with and that motor is starting to feel the rev limiter, long story short she is runnin rough now.
