Got a 99 sc300 recently, working through some kinks.

One I can't put my finger on is that the accelerator pedal seems to vibrate when I push it down. Usually in lower gears, not as noticeable on the freeway.

Any ideas? I had my mechanic check out the transmission and engine mounts, those were fine.

 

I have the same problem too, I changed the engine/tranny mounts as well, and it is not the problem. I think it has something to do with the throttle cable. If you figured it out, let us know!

I've noticed this as well...I was thinking new spark plugs? Engines spitting maybe? I'm out in cali on business, so I wont be able to check it out until I get back home in Nov

 

could **COULD** be heat shields for exhaust vibrating, which can sometimes be felt under the pedal at low speeds
