hey, i've heard that either sc400 headers are impossible to find, must be custom-made, or just plain don't exist...can someone tell me what's actual fact as opposed to fiction?

Planet Soarer has links to the headers available. V8 Exhaust has pictures of the headers installed on a Soarer - great big picture of the complete underside of the car.

 

we have a couple here in the states from Australia. if you really want one, be prepared to spend around 700-800 for this bad boy. ACLEANSC4 on this forum might still have a new one for sale. PM him if ya like.

 

Yeah I originally imported the two headers but I bought a SC300 during the wait so I sold the two sets, one to Acleansc4. I really wanted to see how they worked since they were dynoed at +16rwhp without tuning.

I'm going in w/ another person in FL to order 2 set(s) of Headers. We are ordering together and splitting the cost of shipping (thats what kills us).
