Obx headers are cheap and definitely add a good kick. Sounds nice as well.

should I go with the MVP or OBX headers? im the same shopping isle as casanova..=Dand by the way peter, ive heard that the mvp headers give 17 proven rwhp gains. apperantly the obx headers claim high end and top speed hp...not to sure.

1. dont type in bold, its annoying.
2. use proper grammar and DONT use acromyns.
3. use the proper section.
4. dont waste your money.

headers are only good if you have the rest of the engine set up to work with it. simply putting a bigger pipe on a motor may give it a sense of "faster." in reality you are losing some low end torque, making your car louder, and trading off of high rpm power and i doubt you run at that rpm for more then a few short revs a day.

in short....the benefits of a header are greatly overcast by the negatives.

Personally i would save for a Na-t setup if nothing is wrong with your current setup. I only got my headers because my factory exhaust manifold/cat was toasted (cracked/etc) and i would have to pay 700+ for a new factory one.

and i'll agree on the low end loss, i loss a bit of low end upgrading to the headers + 3" single. but the car above 4.5k is much faster. It's a bit of a tradeoff, as jzz30 said. But thats if you upgrade the exhaust as well.

i wouldnt waste my money with a header becuase at the most you'll get 15hp and thats not that much on a 3700lb car.

Dont forget that 15HP will actualy move from low RPM's to higher,so i wouldnt call it a gain
