Default strange radio behavior

every day for the past few weeks my radio doesn't like to work in the mornings, but when i start it up and pull out of school it decides to work just fine. when i try to get the cassette tape out in the morning it likes to move a little then stop and move and stop. i have to keep pressing the button about ten times to get it out. any idea what could be causing this?

i have the same problem. Its almost like the radio needs to warm up or something but it happens to me in the summer too. I have even changed with my other SC and it still does it. Did you ever figure this out?

Lol I haven't been able to get a cassette out of mine since I bought it. Sounds like a good excuse to get a nice Nav deck...

even though the fuse in the engine wasnt blown, i replaced it and my radio works right now. I will see how it goes tomorrow. I would suggest replacing both fuses in the car and in the engine bay. There is 2 radio fuses.

Capacitors and transistors respond the exact opposite so you always know which is which when one is dying. One works when hot, one works when cold....... both say "Hey replace this unit".
