yea he meant trapped 111mph, no way a stock b16 would run that, i had a 88 crx hf gutted with 11.5:1 comp ls vtec and i wasn't even close to 11s. with a b16 tranny Thats VERY fast for a n/a crx if its a b series..if its a k series then its good.

either way good run.

Ugh I meant trapped 111 and only ran high 12's so settle down there killer it was just a daily beater anyhow nothing special.

how do you get 11.1 out of 111?

Why the hell is this turning into a discussion about the Honda????? Screw the honda! Miller, good job on the swap and not only that, but actually taking your car out to the track to get some baseline numbers.

fwd cars=no fun
no matter how fast they are. I have driven 10 sec hondas, still no fun. Milller, put the squeeze on the 6.0 and lets see what it can do.

I don't know the rules and regulations of drag very well, but sometimes people do have to let off if they aren't certified to run lower e.t.'s correct?

yes you are correct if a person dials in a time. They have to run that time or higher or they get what is called a Breakout.

But I don't think that video was a competition run. Looked like a test and tune run.

Aren't there safety requirements based on e.t. that apply to test and tune runs as well (Cage, helmet...etc)?

It was at a test and tune.

im not totally 100% on these rules but im pretty sure it goes like this
13.9= Helmet
11.5= Cage
10.5= fire suit
8.9= parachute

^ FULLY depends on the track, although there are some general NHRA guidelines

bc at the end of your sentence you said that you expect a "full race car to be in the single digits minimum." when ppl trap at a certain speed they say trap not run. either way gj to the op. all motor cars are amazing motors to build and are fun to drive.
