Passenger Mirror Loose
Thank you guys! The pictures and information help a lot. I actually do fold my mirrors sometimes and I'd hate to lose that functionality. If I can't repair it I will probably just order a new one soon.
yea i went with glue
both of mine did this within 2 days of eachother...but i think someone where i worked bumped into them...cause both times i came out and as soon as i left work i noticed them RIGHT away....pretty pissed but so many ppl in the warehouse area cant know for sure if someone did and if so who...i never fold mine in so oh well

oh i see what hes talking about. i've fixed one and im with OLT it wouldve been much better to liquid nail it unless your painting your car:
strip down your mirror as mentioned above:
-remove five screws around mirror
- take front cover off
-finagle mirror out
-remove motor assembly
youre down to this:

flip side:

then you manage to remove this spring and clip ( about as easy as kissing chuck norris in the mouth and making him think its not gay) with vice grips if youre strong as the hulk.
or an assortment of nuts, a long bolt, and washers as i did.:

reinstall on new mirror in opposite order. If anyone needs the springs and clips i have them for sale. lmk
