Stumbling idle
Hey guys i need some help. Please don't tell me to use search button cause i did. First off the car is a 1994 Sc300 with a 5 speed.
Problem initially was a weird hesitation around 2900-3000 rpms in any gear under certain throttle load. So i tried to fix this minor thing by cleaning the throttle body with throttle body cleaner. No luck.
Then i cleaned the MAF with MAF sensor cleaner. No luck. This is where it got bad. Now the motor will start but wont run very good after initial start idle. Would stumble and shut off.
So i ordered another MAF off another member and stuck that in. Now i know that it needs to stay clean and not touched and anything, and it was carefully handled. Also tested the maf sensors by tapping them while motor is running (diagnostic test i found on another site) but no problems there.
I dont know what wrong and I need some input on any suggestions or anything.

If I were you, I'd meticulously inspect the spark plugs and wires. Take your time and be patient. Scan every inch of every wire for burns or pinches (a pinch refers to tightening the cover without enough care and crushing, scraping, or pinching a section of the insulation, sometimes completely removing a good chunk). Don't forget the spark plugs. You might save yourself the effort of examining them by replacing them all if it's been a while. Since you haven't gotten a solid diagnosis from a professional, I'm assuming you're on a budget, so please do the plugs and wires yourself. It's incredibly easy, and there's nice DIY threads on that already. If none of that helps, your problem could be caused by many other things. I'm hoping for your sake it's just the wires though.
