d2s is a bulb type, I have audi TT projector lenses and housings. They require d2 bulb. d2e is for a reflector type housing and a d2s is for a projector type housing! I think most true oem type projectors use those bulb types...i could be wrong on that though. They cost alot more too. I have a set of oem phillips and osram bulbs.

*1, 8"x10" sheet of lexan or acrylic (lexan is stronger and more durable but more expensive).
*1, 1/2" wide x 1/8" thick (any length +6") piece of aluminium (home depot and ace hardware sells it)
*a tube of rtv clear silicone
*a box of 1/2" #2 phillips self tapping screws
*dremel

Btw what kind of hid bulbs did you get, ie. H3, H1, 880, ect.?
Im going to attempt to try this weekend on my 97 . what will the lexan be used for ?

these are the instructions i got from SChema:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...-pictures.html

I'll try to lists the steps I took to do the retrofit.

1. First, obtain a set of 92' - 94' foglamps. All you'll need are the projectors, no need for the housings.

2. Remove the clear lens from the SC fog like you would on the headlights. I used the oven method.

3. Disassemble the SC foglight assembly.

4. On the rear of the SC, where you would replace the H3 bulb. You will have to use a grinding tool to widen the access hole to allow enough clearance for the ES fog projector to fit.

5. Once completed, you will have to grind the outer two flanges on the ES fogs to clear the reflector of the SC fog.

6. Place the the projector into the housing and snap the ball end into place. I lucked out, the vertical adjustment rod fits on the ES fog and will allow you to adjust just like factory on the SC. It also acts as a mount for the projector.

7. A hole will have to be drilled out on the reflector to allow you to place a zip-tie to reinforce the projector.

8. Reassemble the foglight assembly and you're good to go.
