Default humming noice while accelerating.

Ok family. I have a wierd humming noice that only occurs when my foot is on the gas. It's like a whirling, whinning sound, (like a bad turbo)that sounds like its coming from underneath the engine and floorboard.

I have a 1995sc400, with the stock engine.

It is not from the soundsystem, which has been in my car for several years without an issue. but it is a nuisance when the radio is low.
As i said, it only occurs when the gas pedal is pushed.

It is the most noticeable, when cruising down the highway.

any suggestions?

Most likely a rear diff going south from lack of lubrication due to bad seals.

if these parts are lubricated now, and the seals replaced, will the noise go away and the diff. be saved?

Good news is you can get one cheap like under 100.00,I had one in the fs section for 85.00 and ended up tossing it in the trash because nobody wanted it.

It's the diff carrier/pinion bearings so nothing will help other than a new diff.
