Who makes engine harnesses
The body plugs are the same but the pinouts are different.
In my opinion the biggest issue with doing a JDM JZ to SC400 engine harness is both use the exact same "small" plastic shielding along the firewall whereas the LHD JZs use a much longer piece. Without that piece you'll have to wrap the harness in split plastic tubing which just looks awful again in my opinion. The other issue is the tachometer not working without a SC300 cluster or a tach adapter. That (along with the radiator issue) why I'd always recommend selling a 400 and buying a 300 before starting the swap.

i really don't need the tach right away. as long as my temp and mph works.(i dont have a accurate tach on my rb swap). so a tach isn't an issue. Iam not parting with this car because it has 0 rust, 180k miles but documented maintence, excellent paint, and no accidents. Finding a clean example is harder to come by now. So iam stuck with the 400..
What radiator issue do you speak of?? iam getting a mk4 supra 2 core radiator.
What's all this radiator talk? I have been running my sc400 radiator in my sc300 for 4 months now with no issues. With a bit of tweaking the sc400 radiator works fine.
You will have to remove the hydraulic fan garbage from the 400 radiator to allow clearance for a jz hydro fan.

alright guyz i have A BIG QUESTION?? so my stock sc400 had a hydrolic fan. Which iam not familar with and i don't know how the hell it works.. if you look on my work log(in my sig). you will see that my 1jz dosen't come with a fan pulley. But my spare 2jzge engine has one..
so i plan on using my 2jz pulley fan+aluminum 2jzgtte radiator+stock sc400 fan shroud..(will this work).
so doing this do i need to change the water pump for my 1jz???

I just checked your build thread. Does that wrecked SC300 not have the gauge cluster?
Hydropump works just like power steering.
What you need to do is buy a 2jz-gte (not tt, this isn't nissan
) water pump. The ge and gte fan clutch is the same but the fan blade is different. GE fan blade has a different offset and the blades are longer so they'll hit water hose from the gte. Supra radiator needs a supra fan shroud. SC shroud can mount with trimming and custom brackets. Judging from the pics SC400 one won't fit.
