Driver S. Door actuator?
Suddently 2 days ago my door lock doesnt want to close when i press my alarm.
Inside the cabin, the power lock opens the lock, but it doesnt close it.
Could it the actuator? i think it could hu?
Can anybody help me confirm this or if there is a way for me to check it?
The passan. side still works with the controls open and closes. My problem is with the driver side argg!!!
thanks
Stan

If you can get it to operate once or twice then it fails to want to either lock or unlock, 9x out of 10 it is the actuator. Every once in awhile the rods might get bent or unattached, but that usually causes the lock to not work all together.
Odds are its the actuator. Look at the lock closely while you try to operate it, if it wiggles or moves its a dead indication its getting power and odds are the actuator is getting weak.

the funny thing is.. it was working fine all this days..
Just suddenly one night bang that was it..
The actuator still opens my driver side lock, but it doesnt want to close it =-(
O.. when i open the lock it sounds like something is loose in the lock area by the door.
Tomorrow ill dissasemble the door panels and check..

My outside door handle doesnt work. I replaced that $4 tab joing the rods but that lasted a week.
Took it apart and the tab is still there but the bottom part of the bottom rod doesntlook very deep into the actuator.
Anyone have tips for getting it reattached ?
Or anyone have tips for reassembly after i remove ?
I posred this before and got some "it took me 20 minutes" responses but no tips or hints
Thanks!
