Do I need a key code to get spare key?

1992 SC300:
I have one full-function key that includes the button to lock/unlock, and
one key that seems to be a valet key. I don't have any key code paperwork.
Can I get a spare full-function key made, or do I need a key code?

Just go to the dealer with your regestration and Id they will make a key for you .

There is a key code already assigned to your VIN. Unless you changed the locks and ignition in the car, all you need is your VIN.
