The CD Magazine is missing from my newly purchased 92 SC300. If the system had been having the typical problems, will it be cured by a new magazine?
If the problems occur separate from the magazine, what is the cure? I am not an audio hound, and the stock sound is fine with me. What I am trying to ask is, which is a better value, fixing the stock system or replacing it with aftermarket?
If aftermarket, can I just change the CD changer and have it integrate into the Lexus audio unit?
Thanks for the reply.
I was referring to the threads here and on alt.autos.lexus that suggest that the changer often needs to be replaced or expensively repaired at a radio shop.
Without a magazine, I haven't even been able to try mine. If there was a good replacement that would integrate into the Lexus controls, I wanted to know. But from what you say, they don't integrate; that's what I was afraid of.
I'll order a magazine and go from there. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
