I still have the sc300, just washed and cleaned her up for the first time since winter today .

I picked up a one owner, black 1997 Eagle Talon TSI AWD last year so that I could build another DSM.

I also own a Audi A4 that I daily and I have a 2007 Yamaha R1 sitting in the garage that didn't see much street time last year either.

I can't seem to let go of any of my toys however one of these days I'll have to make a decision. When I switched to AEM V2 on the lexus I had the worst trouble with it and the car was very unreliable, wouldn't start 90% of the time. Now that I've reverted it back to almost completely stock the car runs and drives incredibly smooth and I'm enjoying it again. Plus I realized how rare it is to find a clean example of these cars, especially a 5spd, so I'm hanging on!
I'd say either do a TT swap and keep it on the stock turbos or do a single build with ProEFI.

Stock TT BPU is very fun and should satisfy most people!

Glad to see you are still around man.

Roanoke is a great place to move to when settling down however the job market and opportunities aren't here to build your resume. I hated Roanoke when I was younger but now I realize how nice of an area it is. My parents live in Botetourt and I'm located in Salem and I enjoy it alot.

I made the choice to stick to an NA-T platform years ago but I do like the idea of just a simple stock BPU GTE setup, only hurtle would be the wiring aspect of it.

What I've learned is that sticking to a tried and true proven method is the best way to accomplish an end result that works smoothly. I jumped in farther than I could do swim initially when I should of modded a bit slower and built up working the kinks out one by one. That and I was 10k deep in a 6spd swap and regretted every bit of it due to not being able to get the car to start! This made me second guess the car and eventually parted it out and returned it back to a stock w58 with upgraded competition clutch.

This area has zero shops with expertise on the platform so it was hard getting any local help with AEM or anything 2JZ related.

Your sc300 is probably the cleanest example I've ever seen! If there would ever be an sc300 I would take a loan out for to acquire it would be yours! I've considered selling the sc300, and all my toys for a clean original 6spd (35k+), but I'm hesitant, and they are near impossible to find without spending an arm and a leg.

I appreciate the compliments the TT wheels are in my opinion the best OEM factory look especially once lowered. The plan was to put some meaty Mickey Thompson 295/45/17's on the rears once the traction was necessary.
