I saw this on Ebay. . .SC400 Performance V-SSM Unit 20+hp for about 7 bucks? Anyone know anything about this SC400 Performance V-SSM Unit . . . sounds like a scam so i'm asking what you guys think?

To me it looks like it would hurt the car than do good. Even if it doesnt hurt the car it looks like it would do nothing. It doesnt look like 3 wires can trick a computer into making it gain HP. Its only 7bucks so buy and try it out and see for yourself. IMO I wouldnt try it unless I knew for sure it worked.

That'd be a tiny resistor,patched into the temp sensor circuit,probably 1000 ohms or less,will bump up your timing a tad,and richen the mixture.Since these cars are plenty rich stock,it might hurt the top end performance.
You can get one,or an adjustable trim potentiometer at an electronics supply store and try it out for alot less.
