Default Bomex Kit

Ok, I really looking into getting the Bomex Kit for my 92 SC real soon, But I have a couple of quetions....
How high is the front bumper lip off the ground?
How much do the 97+foglights cost, and how hard are they to install on a 92?
Any idea on install and painting prices?
Thnx

ComputerWiz has put the Bomex kit through the torture test, ask him to answer your questions. As to how to wire the newer fog lamps to the older car, do a search, I posted specific instructions. For a price, talk to Steve Ganz at Carson Toyota, that's where I got all my 97+ parts from.

my car on stock suspension front sits about 6 inches off the ground. its still pretty high to get over those obnoxious speed bumps and driveways. i cant tell you how much the lights cost, but the install is fairly easy, just get your front end off and it should bolt right in. it comes with all the parts and accessories you need to get it on the car.

not sure if u got all the answers u needed but i jus got my bomex kit installed and kevin is right. it's about 6 inches in the front so i dont recommend u dropping it. Also i got my car fully repainted and the entire job costed me 1800. I'll post pics as soon as i get it back on Friday. Damn now that i think about it, my car has been in the shop for like 4 weeks now

ForNGoods, so you went with the bomex? good choice. did you respray the whole car or just the kit? i went with just the kit you could tell that the color didnt match cause of the pearl, but eventually it has faded and matched. could of just been the freshness of the paint.

what's up kevin... yeah i decided to go w/ the full paint job and repaint the entire car. it looks good i love the kit although now i cant drop it b/c it's already lower than i thought it would be in the front.

Ian.. well it's not quite in my possesion yet. I had to put it back into the shop b/c there where a couple things wrong w/ it that needed to be fixed. I painted it black w/ blue pearl. the light has to hit it jus right for u to see the blue. It's a beautiful color.
I wanted to ask u where are u parking in nopi?? what color section?

Khang

Also one more thing for both Kevin and Ian seeing how u both have the bomex kit. How is the fitment b/c on mine when they installed it it stick out a lil bit in the front and there's like a centimeter gap around the high beams. Is that the same w/ urs or did the people who put my kit on done something wrong?

If you lower it with the Bomex kit, watch out for speedbumps, and REALLY watch out for curbs/parking space barriers. It will not even come close to clearing them. After I first put the kit on, I would often know when to stop pulling forward when I heard the "crunch."

Not a good thing. As long as you're careful with it, then you can still lower it. Mine is lowered 1" from stock, and I don't really have problems anymore, once I learned the limits of what I can park over.

thats how mine is to, so i think all of the kits are like that. either that or we did something wrong. i got used to it, so it doesnt bother me anymore.

kevin

ps. i want the supra tt drop, and put it down another inch and a half. i love the look of slammed cars. and plus i want to fill the wheel gap.... GRRR i hate it!! i dont want to spend money on rims, but hate the wheel gap.

I don't really have much space at all around them. Barely noticeable. This is the only pic I happened to have on my site available:

Default Snorkel

Ok, when I do get the kit, Im planning to put mesh all over... Also in that ram air slot, to try and keep some of the bugs out... But I have a RodMillen intake, so do you think it would be a good idea to reinstall just the snorkel section to help push air up to the filter? Any other ideas?
