HID from S2000 or 330 BMW
Has anyone got any information on converting the HID from a sc400 to the S2000 headlight projector??? I've seen the 5 siereies BMW conversion on here, but I like the s2000 more than any I've seen..
The S2000 projector is a separated two piece unit. Even though the projector lens itself is fairly small, the motors and hinges around it are quite large. Oh yeah, the S2K reflector bowl is a swivel-hinged system so you'll need more space in the back of the headlight than is available in the SC. Again, nothing is impossible, but the S2K is an impractical retrofit.
Gotcha.... I have to say, your car looks great with your conversion. How much would it cost for your man to do this If I supply the BMW projectors and my headlight set?
Is it really difficult if I wanted to try to do it myself?
What kind of parts did you use?, sheetmetal is the only think I can think off..

Doing the retrofit yourself without prior experience or any idea of where to start would be quite difficult I'd imagine. Plus if you screw up, each headlight is about $300 and the HID parts range from $500 to $2400. Kind of an expensive mistake to risk.
